Easter Seals Crossroads 2015 Year-in-Review

WFYI hired me to produce this year-in-review piece for Easter Seals Crossroads. We hear a number of stories from the people who have used Easter Seals Crossroads' services during 2015.

A word from the client, "After my first meeting with Will, it was clear that he truly understood our needs for a large video project. He is a story teller - intuitive, creative, well-organized. This combination of skills resulted in a video that is unique to our agency and very compelling."

Indiana Bicentennial: Purdue Torch Project

Indiana commissioned Purdue University's engineering department to design a high tech torch for the state's Bicentennial Celebration in 2016. Take a look at how several engineering departments came together to create a torch that will travel to all 92 Indiana counties during a relay race.

The first video showcases the students working on the project. The second video is that which was shown at the December 11, 2015 unveiling at the Indiana Statehouse. Another, shorter version, of the second video was also played at an Indiana Pacers game the night of the 11th.

A word from the client, "Will Baker did a tremendous job on a short timeline creating a video that was both informational and heartfelt for the unveiling of the Indiana Bicentennial Torch on Statehood Day 2015. Bringing out Hoosier pride while explaining a very technical project to an audience as young as nine could have been very difficult, but Will found a way to bring it all together. The project was used for both the torch unveiling with Governor Mike Pence, but also as part of a promotion at the December 11, 2015 Indiana Pacers game. Well done!"

Coalition for Homeless Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) 2015

CHIP hired me to produce three videos for its September 16, 2015 awards banquet. Being honored are Andrea De Mink for her contributions to fight homelessness, Gillian Bundles for overcoming homelessness and giving back to the community, and Lawrence M. Reuben for his contribution to help fund a new Community Engagement Center.

A word from the client, "Will did an excellent job at crafting stories that were compelling both visually and through dialogue. We were impressed and our supporters who saw them said they really felt they understood our work better. We can continue to use the videos long after we intended because they tell great stories."

The Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee (GIPC)

GIPC hired me to produce a video for its 50th Anniversary celebration on September 15, 2015, highlighting a number of important projects in its 50 year history.

A word from the client, "I felt comfortable and confident from the moment I began working with Will. Whether it was his timely and responsive communication style, his clear grasp of what I was trying to communicate, or his willingness to step up at the last minute when we had unforeseen problems and issues, I have been thoroughly impressed. I am thankful for his affordable price, his quality production, and his personable style. I would welcome the opportunity to work with him again!"
